Generally when people think of Iraq, they think of a place still full of violence and poverty.

Lately, I have been seeing more and more Iraqi's that are not here as refugees but rather as wealthy vacationers. I am not sure how things are Jordan or Syria, but here lately I have been meeting a lot of folks from all  over Iraq.

I have been meeting folks from Baghdad who are looking forward to going back to their home countries. They often invite me to come and visit them there to take the Gospel to their home countries.

Throughout the country I am hearing the same thing. Granted there are still people that are dying daily. But things in the Kurdish north or in the Shia south (Basra) things are getting safe.

Recently, a brother in the Lord that I know (who is not Arab) was able to travel there pretty easily. It was difficult for him to get visa but the security situation has improved greatly.

As things get more stable there, we need to be praying for God to raise up more and more evangelists for Iraq.

Blessings to you all,
