Evangelism in the 10/40 Window
There are many missionary groups throughout the Middle East, however mostly they are not involved with evangelism. Mostly, groups come into the Arab World and paint a building and leave.
There are many groups that will even have their volunteers sign agreements that they will not preach the Gospel while serving with them.
"How then will they call on Him in who they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? How will they preach unless they are sent?" --Romans 10:14
A missionary is not a missionary if he has lost sight of his true mission.
How we are preaching the Gospel
Essentially we do it in many ways. However, this is one of the more common ways that we are active.
We are currently setup for the long run here in Lebanon. Lebanon is a unique country in the 10/40 as there is freedom of speech. That means that though you cannot preach the Gospel (as easily) in Syria, Iran or Saudi you can preach the Gospel here to people from those countries.
In the future we hope to branch out into other Arab countries, but for all purposes this is our "launch pad". More info..
