Bible Storying for Muslim audiences
This story is a remix of the story that was originally created by Sweet publishing You can find a more expanded version of this story set at Free Bible Images The one on our page is shorter, but focuses more on Noah being a preacher of righteousness.
The majority of the world became unbelievers and rejected God. People, were thinking of sin continuously.
Out of the whole world, only Noah and his family loved the Lord.
Noah was known as a preacher of righteousness.
People rejected him and mocked him.
God ordered Noah to make an ark, whoever would enter into the ark will be saved.
Even as he was making the ark, he continued to warn people. Despite this people continued to mock.
God sent all the animals in pairs to the ark. Then Noah and his family entered into the ark.
Then the Lord closed the door to the ark and rain began.
The rains continued for 40 days.
After the rain ended. The ark came to rest in southern Turkey. God gave them a rainbow as a promise that He would not again flood the world with water.
With Muslims, I like to explain the following..
In Islam, in 9:29 the Quran commands Muslims to kill unbelievers. Did God ask Noah to kill unbelievers? Who judged the world God or Noah? Who shut the door to the ark? Christ commands us to love all men, even our enemies. Islam states "Eye for an Eye" but Christ tells us to turn the other cheek. We believe God will judge the world, not us. |

Turkmania
I have just completed work on this book that details how I began to work among the Turkmen.
The Turkmen are a minority group that are found throughout the Middle East. This book combines both instruction and also personal stories of my time with them.
Although, you might not be dealing with the Turkmen, the lessons in this book can help you wherever you find yourself serving.
