Six eras or six days

Recently, while talking to someone online (a Muslim) he said that the Quran referred to the World being created in six eras. However, the Quran literally says six days (as the Bible.)

There is a trend among Christians to try and use the same argument for the Bible. They both (wrongly) do this for the simple reason of trying to fit in with Darwinists who state that the World is billions of years old.

I hope to provide an unique perspective. However, I will include a link at the end of the article to another approach.

In the area that you live, look around for a fresh water source. Look for rivers or lakes. Then ask someone that is older than yourself, about the river or lake and what it looked like 50 or 40 years ago. Even looking within your life time you will notice that, that pond or lake is smaller than when you were a child. Why is this? Well, simply put fresh water sources decrease in size with time. Look at any example in the world, and you will see it shrink with time. This is because plants grow along the sides of the river / pond / lake and the roots draw up soil. As time progresses it causes the bank to become larger and the source to become more and more filled in.

The problem with the idea of the world being billions of years old is quite logical. If the world was that old, there would not be fresh water remaining on the earth.

My brother in law’s father had a house in Glenn Rose, Texas. On his property there were dinosaur bones found. This is the interesting part, they were found on the same level and in close proximity of a primitive hammer! Now, that is something you don’t hear about. Dinosaurs were supposed to have existed billions of years before man (evolved). If that is the case, why is it that there are multiple examples of human remains being found on the same geological level as dinosaurs? Of course these are not well known, as it goes against the agenda of the evolutionists that control so much of the education in the West.

I could go on, but I would like to close with this brief thought. Why is it that so many ancient cultures have paintings of dinosaurs (dragons, sea monsters, etc) if infact they had no contact with each other or with dinosaurs? If the world was billions of years old, where are the skeletons for those billions of years?

So for six days or six eras, I think it is best we stay with what is written rather than try to be acceptable to a world that loves darkness more than light.
